报告简介: Highly oscillatory integrals arise in many practical problems, including acoustic scattering, electronic circuits and laser simulations. The cost of computing such integrals with traditional quadrature rules may be prohibitive and therefore it is necessary to develop some efficient and affordable methods. In this talk, we shall introduce some new complex Gaussian quadrature rules for oscillatory integral transforms on positive real axis. We show that the existence of these rules can always be guaranteed and they possess a remarkable advantage that their accuracy improves rapidly as the frequency of oscillations increases. Numerical experiments are presented to show the performance of the proposed rules.
报告人简介:王海永,华中科技大学数学与统计学院,教授,博士生导师。2001-2005年于中南大学数学与统计学院信息与计算科学专业学习, 2005-2010年于中南大学数学与统计学院计算数学专业硕博连读,2011-2012年在比利时鲁汶大学(荷语)计算机科学系从事博士后研究,2013年进入华中科技大学数学与统计学院工作至今。主要从事谱方法的逼近理论和算法、高振荡问题高效数值方法等问题的研究,在Math. Comp.、SIAM J. Numer. Anal.、Numer. Math.、IMA J. Numer. Anal.等计算数学著名期刊发表论文多篇。主持多项国家自然科学基金项目,研究成果获教育部高校科学研究优秀成果奖二等奖(2021年)。
