报告题目：A Survey on Halperin-Carlsson Conjecture

报告摘要：

Halperin-Carlsson conjecture is a famous conjecture on the topological obstructions to the existence of free torus actions on a finite dimensional space. In this talk, I will briefly introduce the history of Halperin-Carlsson conjecture and report some recent progress on confirming this conjecture. 

报告人简介：

于立副教授，2005年获加州大学圣地亚哥分校博士学位，现任职于南京大学数学系。主要从事代数拓扑学与几何拓扑学的研究，相关工作发表在Advances in Mathematics, Mathematical Research Letters，International Mathematics Research Notices, Forum Mathematicum, Pacific Journal of Mathematics, Algebraic and Geometric Topology等国际著名期刊上。
