报告摘要:The past two decades have witnessed the great success of evolutionary computation on various hard optimization problems that affect our daily life. On the other hand, evolutionary algorithms are usually thought of associating with poor scalability, which has significantly hindered the applications of EAs. This talk will introduce, under three specific scenarios, recent progresses on improving/analyzing the scalability of EAs with respect to different environmental factors, including number of decision variables, processors, and data volume.
报告人简介:
唐珂,南方科技大学计算机科学与工程系教授。主要研究方向为演化计算、机器学习及其应用。在IEEE TEVC、TNNLS、TCYB、NIPS、IJCAI等期刊和会议发表论文130余篇,被引用5200余次(Google Scholar),曾获IEEE计算智能学会杰出青年奖(Outstanding Early Career Award)、英国皇家学会牛顿高级学者(Newton Advanced Fellowship)、教育部自然科学一等、二等奖各一项、中国电子学会自然科学一等奖、教育部新世纪优秀人才、安徽省杰出青年科学基金等奖励或荣誉。曾任IEEE Trans. on Evolutionary Computation、Swarm and Evolutionary Computation (Elsevier)等期刊编委,以及多个国际会议程序委员会或技术主席,包括国际演化计算大会(IEEE CEC)程序委员会联合主席(第一位来自中国大陆的主席)。
