In this talk I will explain different ways to tile the plane, and give some interesting properties of the tilings obtained. In particular we will describe Penrose tiling, which is one the main classical examples.

报告人简介:

Nicolas Bedaride在2018年获得马赛数学研究所永久职位。目前是Aix-Marseille大学的助理教授，同时也是基础数学系主任。其研究方向主要有：几何，动力学，算术，组合数学及其相互作用。在Transactions of the American Mathematical Society、Journal of the London mathematical society等著名期刊发表多篇高水平论文。
