Some Nonhomogeneous Monotonicity Formulas

and Associated Free Boundary Problem

摘要：

I am going to present a version of the Alt-Caffarelli-Friedman monotonicity formula revised for nonhomogeneous situation. The proof of the formula is elementary without resort to advanced tools. The formula will then be applied to the existence and regularity theory of a solution of the two-phase problem. These topics reffect the recent joint research in the two-phase problem with David Patwin.

 王培勇，美国韦恩州立大学教授，博士生导师，毕业于美国纽约大学Courant研究所，师从国际数学大师L.Caffarelli教授，主要从事偏微分方程自由边界等问题的研究。研究成果发表在Adv. Math.，Comm. Partial Differential Equations，J. Funct. Anal.，Calc. Var. Partial Differential Equations，J. Differential Equations等国际著名数学期刊上。
