报告摘要:
The classification of integrable equations is one of the most important problems in the theory of integrable systems. Among the various approaches developed to address it, the symmetry approach has proven to be particularly efficient and powerful.
In this talk, we will discuss recent developments in the symmetry approach to two-component integrable evolutionary systems. These advances have been achieved mainly through a symbolic presentation of a ring of differential polynomials, which makes it possible to apply tools from algebraic geometry and number theory and to derive necessary and sufficient integrability conditions.
报告人简介:
王敬萍,女,曾为英国肯特大学教授、博士生导师,现为宁波大学教授、博士生导师,是数学物理和可积系统领域的国际著名学者。分别在北京大学、清华大学、荷兰 Vrije 大学获得学士、硕士和博士学位,之后在美国 Minnesota 大学做博士后研究。在 Communications in Mathematical Physics、Nonlinearity、Foundations of Computational Mathematics、Inverse Problems、Journal of Nonlinear Science 等国际著名期刊上发表了一系列具有原创性的高水平成果。
