报告题目： Dynamics of Discrete-Time Leslie–Gower Competition Models with Beverton–Holt Survivability and Reproductive Interference

报告摘要：

We introduce discrete-time Leslie–Gower competition models featuring Beverton–Holt survivability and interspecific mating to explore interactions between two Aedes mosquito species in this talk. By incorporating larval resource competition and asymmetric reproductive interference (satyrization), we identify conditions for equilibrium existence and local stability. We specifically examine how the mating competitiveness of Ae. albopictus and its interference with Ae. aegypti drive competitive displacement or coexistence of the two mosquito species, depending on parameter regimes and initial population sizes, which particularly provides better understanding how reproductive interference shapes mosquito population dynamics.

报告人简介：

李佳教授于1987年在美国田纳西大学数学系获博士学位。1987-1991年先后在美国田纳西大学、亚利桑那大学、美国能源部洛斯阿拉莫斯国家实验室从事博士后研究工作。自1990年起在美国阿拉巴马大学汉斯维尔校区数学科学系工作，先后担任助理教授、副教授、教授，并于2005至2016年间担任该系系主任。在1992至2005年间还曾任美国康奈尔大学访问副教授，及美国能源部洛斯阿拉莫斯国家实验室顾问。现为阿拉巴马大学亨茨维尔校区荣休教授，并担任广州大学应用数学中心特聘教授。

李佳教授主要从事于动力系统、微分方程、差分方程、数学建模、人口动力学、传染病动力学、数学生态学、数学传染病学及数学生态毒理学等方面的研究。在主要应用数学和生物数学杂志发表论文120多篇，获得多项美国国家科学基金项目，任Journal of Biological Dynamics等杂志的编委。李佳教授多次组织和参与有关生物数学方面的国际学术会议，在国内外多所高校进行讲学，是国际生物数学领域的著名专家。
